About Google Cloud Security

Google bought Mandiant in 2022, and its incident responders and threat researchers now work inside Google Cloud. Google Threat Intelligence combines their findings with VirusTotal data and Google’s own telemetry, and Google Security Operations is the SIEM and SOAR product that uses it.

The $32 billion purchase of Wiz closed in March 2026. Wiz keeps its brand and still protects workloads on AWS, Azure and Oracle Cloud as well as Google’s.
